For those who are “fine,” but not fine.
While I take my work with you very seriously, I am not the stoic, silent, nodding type. I am a real person who uses proven, effective methods to provide a space that’s authentic, collaborative, and occasionally even enjoyable.
Therapy is an investment, so you want to make sure you find the right therapist for you. I get that and feel the same way
My name is Alyson (Aly) and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). My work is relational, client-centered, and grounded in understanding how patterns live in both the mind and the nervous system.
I’m a queer-identifying, gender- and sexuality-affirming therapist, rooted in social justice. As a certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist with 16 years in the mental health field, I take an eclectic, non-one-size-fits-all approach.
Finding the right therapist can be hard. My hope is that our work leaves you feeling seen, supported, and more at home within yourself.
Inclusive Trauma- Informed Therapy
Life tends to come with many unexpected plot twists, some that are welcome and some that aren’t. It is rarely clean, succinct, or predictable. It’s messy. It’s human. Whether you’re recovering from trauma, exploring your identity, managing the impact of depression or anxiety, or navigating life’s many transitions; I am here to sit alongside you in both the hard and the beautiful. Together we will explore the emotion and wisdom your nervous system has been trying to communicate all along. Therapy isn’t about having it all figured out—it’s about having a place where you don’t have to.
