Insurance. Simplified.

For those that want to use health insurance, most insurances have "behavioral (or mental) health benefits" that you can ask about. You can often log in to your provider online or give them a call at the 800 number listed on the back of your insurance card. Clients are responsible for checking their benefits to ensure I am in-network with their plan (search Alyson Webster vs. Aly).

Most people have a deductible. The deductible is a monetary number that you have to reach before you have 100% coverage, partial coverage (called co-insurance) or just a copay to make on your visits. Sometimes this deductible is separate for therapy, but many times the deductible is reached by any medical professional visits that you are making. Co-insurance and co-pays are often listed on your insurance card.

Providers can be In-Network or operate Out-of-Network for you. Individuals have both In Network benefits and Out of Network benefits. This might mean that you have a separate deductible and coverage amount for each. I have the ability to bill out of network for you, or I can provide you with a Superbill to submit on your own. Most FSA and HSA cards can be used to pay for therapy costs. Again, it is your responsibility to verify this with your card carrier based on the parameters of your account. We can also offer receipts that you can submit to your FSA or HSA account for reimbursement if you do not have a card associated with your account..

I am in-network for the following insurance companies: BCBS/Blue Plus PMAP, HealthPartners, Cigna, Tricare, Medicaid/MN DHS, Hennepin Health, Aetna, Optum group (UHC, UBH, Medica, UMR, UHC PMAP, Medica PMAP, Bind/Surest).

I do also offer limited sliding scale sessions to make therapy more accessible for those who could not otherwise afford services. Please inquire regarding my available sliding scale spots when you reach out.

Private Pay Options

Benefits of Private Pay

No Session Limits: Work with your therapist for as long as needed, without arbitrary caps on sessions imposed by insurers.

Personalized Treatment: Care is tailored to your goals, not dictated by insurance-driven protocols, allowing for deeper, more flexible, and longer sessions.

No Diagnosis Required: Get help for personal growth, stress, or relationship issues without needing a diagnosable mental health condition.
